These unmanned balloons are great platforms for a variety of scientific efforts. Pelican offers helium filled balloon platforms for stratosphere flight paths, generally attaining 60,000 to 120,000 feet in altitude (near space). These balloons offer GPS, radio transmitters, cameras, and satellite navigation. Pelican also offers proprietary radiation profiling, high altitude real time position sensing, and cubesat technologies.
